Supporting Women-Headed Families

ESCO continue supporting women headed families affected by multiple disasters in Vaharai since Yr.2016.   34 families and their children from Preschool up to their higher education.  These mothers were supported with Livelihoods activities. 

Two mothers with their water pumps for their vegetable gardens.

Two very old aged grandmother issued with dry ration for their grandchildren feeding.  One girl child being supported for her eye treatment continuously.

Currently 29 children get the benefits.  Supporting for monthly tuition and bus fare to schools and extra classes. Issue of school materials, foot wares, clothing and uniforms.  04 school going children issued with push bikes for schooling and tuition classes.

Two boys involved in software engineering 01 is doing his Master at Kelaniya campus, Other boy in his second year at Sabrgamuwa campus One boy entered current academic year at EUSL. Another boy entered Rajaratta campus current year.

Another boy is in EUSL Fine arts final year.

College of education 03 girl children  Degree holders  04 girls.
